Love Welcomes All is dedicated to the education, awareness, and visibility of the gay and lesbian community. As an organization we value equality, pride, and leadership and believe in the principles of social justice and building community.
LWA is a project of Queer Networks.
The Love Welcomes All committee was formed in 2004 as a loose affiliation of local GLBT organizations in central California to stage a protest against one of those groups that claimed to “fix” church youth who were gay or might have gay tendencies. The protest was a huge success and though the group continued to meet for a short time after the protest it was eventually dissolved. We still owned the domain name lovewelcomesall.com and we decided to put it to good use. LWA was eventually turned into a blogging platform and officially joined Queer Networks in 2006.
It is our hope to report on and provide information about the gay marriage movement all over the world. This blog is totally donation-based and if you’d like to help support this project you can send your gift (in any amount) to:
